SATURDAY, APRIL 30TH 2022

Drug Take Back is back. Remember this is a free and anonymous service. This is a drive through event so bring your unused medication to dispose of properly and keep our community safe! In Collaboration with the local police department and the DEA!

Thursday, September 17, 2020 - Online Webinar

Thank you for all who joined us to discuss mental health, Substance Use Disorders, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and how they all correlate. Let us remember that though there are many contributing factors to mental illness, SUDs, and ACEs, there are also many protective factors. Please consider what you can do on an individual, communal, and societal level to assist with mental health wellness.

Thursday, May 21, 2020 - Online Webinar

The CAUSE presented the first "Let's Talk About" webinar on May 21, 2020. The information was about e-cigarettes and vaping - basic construction, usage trends, dispelling popular myths, and addressing potential health effects. The presentation concluded with a Kahoot! trivia game with the top scorer winning a $20 Amazon gift card.

This webinar event was part of The CAUSE's National Prevention Week (NPW) celebration. NPW is an annual week-long observance funded by SAMHSA with the mission of encouraging youth to stay substance-free over the summer. Thank you for joining us on October 25, 2019. Between our five locations across Rock Island County, we gathered 710 lbs of unused and expired prescription and OTC drugs. Thank you, QC, for working toward a healthier and safer community.
